Having been a bit fed up by some of the coverage my lovely suburb has had, I decided to start a semi-regular newsletter which would highlight some of the more positive aspects of Stirchley, Birmingham. I say semi-regular because I can’t commit to another blog, but I can commit to a newsletter every three weeks or so.
I aim to create a newsletter which highlights some of the interesting things happening in Stirchley – from the shops to the libraries, community events and so much more. I want it to be a celebration of what is here, of the people and what they create. I’m hoping other people will want to get involved, and I’ll actively encourage people to do so – I don’t want it to be about me, I want it to be about Stirchley. Inspired by some other (completely unrelated) newsletters, I want it to be the sort of thing you sit down with a cuppa to read and feel like you’ve had a little dose of something, well, nice.
