I love to write. This blog is a place to put some of the writing I do in my spare time, but I’m also a freelance writer for hire.
I am great with simplifying information and making it understandable to a larger audience. From ghost-writing medical columns to national features for food magazines, I love to take lots of information and make it into something people want to read. If it’s technical and complicated stuff to get my head around, even better.
I also understand that sometimes people know what they want to convey, but don’t always know how. So I can help you unlock the ideas of what you want to say and craft it into a piece of writing for you.
To give you an idea, here are a few things I can do for you;
- Blog posts
- Social media
- Press releases
- Features and articles
- Biography / ‘About’ pages
If what you need isn’t on that list, feel free to get in contact and let’s discuss it – email me at laura[@]fulltothebrum.co.uk
I have written extensively about food and drink for my award-winning blog Full to the Brum, including articles for olive magazine, Sainsbury’s Magazine, Virgin Trains, Travelodge and more. I’ve also been featured on radio and TV talking about food in Birmingham, and previously worked in marketing and events for a group of cocktail bars.
But it’s not just food and drinks I can write about. I have also worked in hospital communications and have written about a number of medical and health issues, sport, news articles for not-for-profit organisations, sustainability, public transport, and more.
So, if you need someone to write something for you, please do get in contact. The best way is via email laura[@]fulltothebrum.co.uk or any of my social media channels.
